Am I the only one who is a little concerned about the proposed changes to the Disability Living Allowance. Is the fact that volunteer as a self-management tutor going to affect my payments? As far as I understand The Chancellor announced that the Government would use the Work Capability Assessment (currently used in assessing Employment and Support Allowance claimants) as a model for the proposed new medical tests for DLA... that looks to me like it is lumping together ‘out of work’ benefits and disability benefits yet they are actually completely different.
